The MPC852TADS board is designed to aid hardware and software developers of the PowerQUICC® family to provide an evaluation platform for the MPC852T.
The MPC852TADS board has 8MB of SDRAM DIMM (up to 64MB) and a 2MB ProgramFlash SIMM (up to 32MB). The on-board interfaces include BDM, Dual UART,10/100-Base-T Fast Ethernet, and PCMCIA interface.
Using the ADS on-board resources and Metrowerks CodeWarrior® debugger, developers are able to download and run code, set breakpoints, display memory and registers, and connect proprietary hardware via the expansion connectors. That code can then be incorporated into the desired system with the MPC852T processor.
The kit contains the MPC852TADS board, AMC's WireTAP™ probe (CodeWarrior-dependent device), and evaluation copy of CodeWarrior (upgradeable to full version).
Who should order this product:
Developers interested in the PowerQUICC family and Metrowerks' CodeWarrior software should order the MPC852TADS-KIT. If software other than CodeWarrior is desired, consider theMPC852TADS.
