The KIT33908MBEVBE evaluation motherboard demonstrates the functionality of the MC33908 power system basis chip. This IC is equipped with an Intelligent Power Management System including safety features targeting the latest ISO 26262 automotive functional safety standard. The power management and MCU peripherals are located on the motherboard described in this user guide.
The motherboard can be used with different daughterboards. The daughterboard is selected according to the preferred MCU along with its associated circuitry. The enhanced evaluation board system includes demonstration software, which facilitates communication between the motherboard's power management functions and the daughterboard's MCU. The system's advanced safety features enable it to reach the highest standard in functional safety: ASIL D.
