Highly Accurate Real Timing

  • ±8 ppm from -40 °C to +85 °C (worst)

Integrated Quartz Crystal and Oscillator

  • 32.768 kHz quartz crystal
  • Temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO)

Battery Back Up Supported

  • Battery backup input pin and switch-over circuitry
  • Battery backed output voltage
  • Battery low detection function

Timestamp and Interrupt Functionality

  • 4x Time stamp inputs with independent registers
  • 2x Interrupt pin with selectable interrupt source

Multiple Interfaces Supported

  • I²C-bus support (400 kHz fast-mode)
  • SPI-bus (maximum speed 6.5 Mbit/s)

Calendar Capabilities

  • Provide year, month, day, weekday, hours, minutes, seconds and 1/100 seconds
