The MKT564L Evaluation Board supports the NXP® 32-bit Power Architecture® MPC564xL MCUs.

  • The complete system consists of an XPC56xxMB2 motherboard and an MDC564L daughter-card which plugs into the motherboard
  • Different daughter-cards are available for evaluating devices with different footprints in the MPC564xL family of MCUs
  • Allows full access to the CPU, all of the CPU’s I/O signals, and the motherboard peripherals
  • The mini-module may be used as a standalone unit, which allows access to the CPU, but no access to the I/O pins or any motherboard peripherals

  • XKT564L144S1M (KIT) contains a XDC564L144S1M (Mini-Module board) which has a socket for MPC5643L in 144LQFP footprint / XKT564L257S1M (KIT) contains a XDC564L257S1M (Mini-Module board) which has a socket for MPC5643L in 257MAPBGA footprint
  • The Mini-Module Boards can be used as a standalone board by providing external 12V power supply input
  • XPC56xxMB2 motherboard
  • ON/OFF Power Switch with LED indicator
  • Reset button with filter and LED indicator
  • XPC56xx Resources CD-ROM
  • P&E USB-ML-PPCNEXUS Hardware Interface Cable
  • USB A-to-B Cable

XPC56xxMB2 Board Features

  • A 12 V DC power supply input barrel connector
  • 2 CAN channels with jumper enable
    • One channel with High-Speed transceiver
    • One channel with Low-Speed Fault Tolerant and High-Speed transceiver (selectable with jumpers)
  • 2 LIN channels with jumper enable
    • One with transceiver and pin header connector populated
    • One channel with footprints only
  • 1 SCI channel with jumper enables
  • 2 FlexRay channels with jumper enable
    • One channel with transceiver and DB9 male connector
    • One channel with footprint only
  • 4 user push buttons with jumper enables and polarity selection
  • 4 user LED’s with jumper enables
  • 1 potentiometer for analog voltage input
