MQX App Builder is here.
MQX™ v5 is a continuation of the MQX Classic product available
under low-cost commercial licensing terms. MQX v4.2 is no longer available and
superseded by v5. MQX v5 is backward compatible with MQX Classic and includes
a multitasking
RTOS
kernel, a
TCP/IP stack (RTCS) with Internet protocol v6 (IPv6),
embedded MS-DOS file system (MFS),
USB host/device stack
and task-aware debugging. MQX v5 board support packages (BSPs) are available
for a number of platforms, with other BSPs available upon request.

What's Included
Packages are created specifically for the licensed processor and licensee's
set of compiler / debugger development tools, for example, the i.MX RT1170
processor with the MCUXpresso Development Tools. Packages are shipped to the
licensee electronically as soon as we can upon receipt of an order for a
license. All licenses include the first year of maintenance updates, and at
the completion of the first year the maintenance period can optionally be
extended (see the maintenance section of the 'Buy Options' page).
The delivered packages include the full source code for the libraries and
examples relevant to the target processor. Not every example will include
project files for your chosen set of tools, but a representative set of
examples will be included which can be cloned to create project files for
other examples of interest. Only the Debug build configuration is supported
for the libraries and examples. Should you prefer to release your code with
optimizations set to something higher than zero, it is recommended that you
update the Debug build configuration to the desired optimization level, either
at the beginning of your project, or at the latest, when you start a full set
of regression tests.
The Board Support Package (BSP) and supporting examples will support the
populated peripherals on the NXP evaluation board (EVK) to the degree that
they can. Licensees may have to make updates to the BSP in order to support
the peripherals on their custom hardware.
Note: In order to keep licensees as low as possible, MQX licenses do not
include technical support. However, a small package of 20 hours of technical
support ($4K) may be added if purchased at the time of purchasing the MQX
license. At any time, larger packages of support can be added through Pro
Support. Details are available at www.nxp.com/prosupport. Technical Support
to MQX licensees is provided by the team of experts that are actively
maintaining MQX.
