AUTOSAR (Classic Platform) 4.2 focuses on performance optimization for the communication service layer, including TCP/IP and the routing capability for larger data chunks.

AUTOSAR (Classic Platform) 4.2 is the third NXP-supported major version with further improved and matured standard specifications —compared to version 4.0.

AUTOSAR (Classic Platform) 4.2 modules from different vendors can be integrated as MCAL module specs are mostly unchanged from 4.0. Module integration from different AUTOSAR versions is not recommended.

Features
