Digital Signal Controller with CAN for Industrial Applications
NXP® 56F803X digital signal controllers belong to the 56800E core-based DSC family. It combines digital signal processing and microcontroller functionalities on a single chip, with a flexible set of peripherals.
- Supports industrial and motor control, home appliances, inverters, smart sensors, fire and security systems, switched-mode power supply, power management, and medical monitoring
- On-chip integration and ease of implementation help to speed development, lower component count, and significantly reduce system cost
- Supported by robust development tools to simplify and accelerate time-to-market

- DSP and MCU functionality in a unified,C-efficient architecture with up to 32 MIPS at 32 MHz core frequency
- 64 KB (32K x 16) program Flash
- 8 KB (4K x 16) unified data/program RAM
- Integrated Peripherials:
- Controller area network (CAN)
- One 6-channel pulse width modulation (PWM) module
- Three programmable interval timers (PITs)
- Up to 53 GPIO lines
- Two up to 8-channel 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs)
- Two 12-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs)
- This product is included in NXP®.s product longevity program, with assured supply for a minimum of 10 years after launch
