MCX C14x/24x/44x MCUs with Arm® Cortex® M0+, Entry level MCUs with USB, Segment LCD and Classical Peripherals
The MCX C14x/24x/44x microcontrollers, featuring an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core, offer a range of memory configurations, from 32KB to 256KB Flash and up to 32KB SRAM, with 16KB Boot ROM. These entry-level MCUs are optimized for cost-sensitive and battery-powered applications requiring low-power USB connectivity and segment LCD support. The FlexIO technology enables customization for various serial peripheral emulation needs. They feature optimized low-power modes, achieving efficiency down to 54uA/MHz in very low-power run mode and 1.96 uA in deep sleep mode with retained RAM and RTC.
These devices are supported by the MCUXpresso Developer Experience to optimize, ease and help accelerate embedded system development.

Performance with Low Power
- Two times more CoreMarks®/mA than the closest 8/16-bit
- Single-cycle fast I/O access port facilitates bit banging and software protocol emulation, maintaining an 8-bit ‘look and feel.’
- Multiple, flexible low-power modes (including a new compute mode) that reduce dynamic power by placing peripherals in an asynchronous stop mode
- LPUART, SPI, I²C, ADC, LP timer and DMA support low-power mode operation without waking up the core
Memory
- 16 KB ROM and built-in bootloader simplifies the effort to program MCU and allows for easy flash upgrades
- Security circuitry to prevent unauthorized access to RAM and flash contents

- One 16-bit 818 ksps ADC, up to 16 channels
- 12-bit DAC
- 1.2 V high-accuracy internal voltage reference
- High-speed comparator with internal 6-bit DAC

- 1x 6-channel and 2x 2-channel, 16-bit low-power timer PWM modules with DMA support
- Low-power timer allows operation in all power modes except for VLLS0
