Backup Care

Offered through Bright Horizons, Bright Horizons is an alternative child care, senior care or self-care arrangement made in response to an emergency, an unexpected event, or a disruption in regular care. You can access this benefit by registering on Bright Horizons.

Online

Visit Bright Horizons , select the “Join Today” button to verify your eligibility and create a username and password for future use of the website. If searching for “back-up care” through a browser or using the mobile app enter employee credentials:

Note: If your benefit eligibility cannot be confirmed, you can still register by calling 877-BH-CARES and your personal username and password will be delayed until confirmation is received from your employer.

By phone

Call 877-BH-CARES (242-2737) to speak with a care consultant 24/7. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to create a personalized username and password. Log in to your account with your new credentials.

Bright Horizons Enhanced Family Supports

Bright Horizons Enhanced Family Supports™ offers discounts on top child care, tutoring, elder care, summer camp, new parent, and STEM learning providers for your family. Services include:

• As of May 1^st, 2024, get 15% off childcare tuition at Bright Horizons® centers nationwide, just by trading some of your back-up care days. Savings are available even if your child is already enrolled.
• Special privileges for full-time child care, such as preferred enrollment and waived registration fees at Bright Horizons centers
• Free premium access to Sittercity, a fantastic solution for finding babysitters, pet care providers, and housekeepers

Nanny Placement and On Call Sitters

Jovie, works with families to provide fun, well-trained long-term nannies and on-call sitters who are equipped with the tools and support they need to bring order and joy to homes. As of May 16, 2024, you will receive 50% off the Jovie one-time registration fee of $200 for your nanny or sitter.

To connect with Jovie, visit your Bright Horizons benefits page and navigate to “Nanny Placement” or Jovie tile. This will bring you to the Jovie website, where you can submit a short inquiry form. Your local Jovie office will make contact within 48 hours to begin the consultation process to learn more about your care need and if a nanny or a sitter would be the right choice for your family.

Elder Care

Bright Horizons provides exclusive elder caregiving resources.

Years Ahead connects you with elder care tools and resources — including search tools and referrals. Your Bright Horizons benefits include free access to this online elder care platform.

How do I access care through Years Ahead?

To access these tools and resources, visit your Bright Horizons benefits page and navigate to “Find Elder Care” or Years Ahead tile. This will direct you to your employer’s Sittercity homepage. Select Years Ahead in the Membership Activation form, and then create a username and password to gain access.

What resources are available to me through Years Ahead?

Through Years Ahead, you can search a nationwide network of senior care providers that includes in-home agencies, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, memory care, and nursing homes. You can browse providers’ profiles, which may include program information, photos, experience and capabilities, pricing, and reviews. The site also offers articles, cost calculators, and other tools to help you make informed decisions about care for your loved one.

Free Resources Through Fidelity

Fidelity offers two free resources to help NXP employees navigate college planning and student loans:

• Their Student Debt Tool is completely free and enables borrowers to have a singular view of federal and private loan options by aggregating all their student debt loans in one place along with repayment options.
• To help families avoid accumulating education debt, Fidelity’s Pre-College Planning Resources can be used to help families plan, save and pay for college.
