From family planning to parental leave, NXP offers a range of benefits to support employees and their growing families.

Maternity and Parental Leave

Maternity leave  is provided at 100 percent salary pay during your approved short-term disability claim for six weeks and an additional six weeks paid at 100 percent salary through parental leave (outlined below) for a total of twelve weeks paid leave benefit.

  • Beginning January 1, 2023, employees must work at NXP for 90 days in order to be eligible
  • Must be taken continuously and completed within the first six months of birth
  • Maternity leave will run concurrent to NXP’s Short-term Disability, FMLA and State leave laws

Parental leave  will be covered up to six weeks paid at 100 percent salary.

  • Beginning January 1, 2023, employees must work at NXP for three months in order to be eligible
  • Must be taken continuously and completed within the first 12 months of birth
  • Foster/adoption needs to be taken within the first 90 days of placement with the employee
  • Parental leave will run concurrent to FMLA and State leave laws

If you’re thinking about having a baby or have one on the way, the Maternity Support Program is here to provide information and support — throughout your pregnancy and after giving birth. Sign up to receive a gift box containing items for you and your baby. Within the app you can track milestones, set reminders, get daily tip and find resources. Dental Benefit for Pregnant Employees

Did you know? There is enhanced coverage for pregnant women. You can receive 2 additional cleanings while pregnant (4 total annually). To use this benefit, have your dentist submit written confirmation of your pregnancy with your claim. Learn more here .

Mother’s Room and Breast Pump Information

NXP provides mothers’ rooms or other private and secure spaces and reasonable break time to express milk at NXP U.S. sites if you choose to continue breastfeeding after returning to work. Please click here  for additional information.

Adoption Assistance

At NXP, you are eligible to receive reimbursement of up to $10,000 per child in eligible adoption expenses. Eligible expenses include:

  • Public or private adoption agency fees
  • Foreign and international adoption fees
  • Legal fees associated with an adoption
  • Court fees associated with an adoption
  • Agency or legal fees associated with temporary foster care
