The TEA1993TS add-on board is designed for incorporation into existing flyback power supplies, by replacing the secondary rectifier diode.

The add-on board consists of the TEA1993TS SR controller IC and a low-ohmic MOSFET.

  • Operates with standard and logic level SR MOSFETs
  • Adaptive gate drive for fast turn-off at the end of conduction cycle and maximum efficiency at any load
  • Supply current in no-load operation below 200 uA
  • Blanking time 1.5 us or 0.8 us (A-version)
  • IC used: TEA1993TS controller in TSOP-6 package
