202004002F01 : S32K1xx Data Sheet And Reference Manual Update To Rev 13 & S32K1xx Errata Update To Rev 20Apr2020

NXP Semiconductors announces data sheet and reference manual update for the S32K1xx from revision 12 and revision 12.1 respectively to revision 13. The errata for S32K144 will be updated to revision 20 Apr 2020.The revision history included in the updated document provides a details description of the changes.For reference manual changes please refer to Appendix B release notes in revision 13.Please review three important changes listed below in this revision that may require user to update their application.1) In page 195 under section 11.3.1.8.4_Fields 19-16 that specifies the RAM SIZE will all be changed to RESERVED.2) In page 196 also under section 11.3.1.8.4_Fields 7-0 that specifies device features BIT 6-0 will be changed to RESERVED.3) In page 776 under section 35.1.3 ECC will be implemented for NVM. Application may need to be updated if user decides to use ECC to detect double-bit ECC errors.Users will need to stop verifying the SDID registers BIT 19-16 for RAMSIZE and BIT 0-6 for FEATURES if this is currently done.Data sheet changes:1) In LVR LVD and POR operating requirements - Updated table title for S32K14xW series - Updated values for VLVR for S32K14xW series2) In Absolute maximum ratings updated TJ for S32K14xW series3) In Thermal operating characteristics updated TJ for S32K14xW series4) In External System Oscillator electrical specifications added note 'Minimum value is shown as a reference only ...
