The BRKTSTBAPx7250 series evaluation boards consist of one of the FXPS7250X series pressure sensors depending on the type of pressure output protocol required; analog or digital (I²C/SPI). The FXPS7250X is an automotive grade high-performance, high-precision absolute pressure sensor. The evaluation boards come in the 20 kPa to 250 kPa pressure range and NXP also provides a PCB where many other pressure ranges can be used as required by the application. For example, 40 kPa to 115 kPa or 20 kPa to 550 kPa and many other pressure ranges are available in either an analog or digital output format. This sensor FXPS7 family is ideal for many automotive applications such as manifold air pressure (MAP), comfort seating and other applications requiring operating absolute pressure ranges up to 550 kPa.
Through the combined use of the FRDM7X-INTERFACE board, any of the BRKTSTBAPx7250 breakout boards can be easily connected to a NXP Freedom MCU board via the Arduino headers for evaluation. There are component library projects provided for the FRDM-KE15Z and FRDM-K64F MCU boards for fast evaluation.
