Offered as an enhanced module for the Tower® System, the TWR-SER2 serial module enables high-speed connectivity through dual Ethernet and high-speed USB.

  • This module provides Tower System designs with additional interfaces commonly required by feature-rich MPUs, including USB and dual-Ethernet, along with traditional CAN and RS485 features.
  • Simply connect this module to your MPU-based Tower System and get started designing quickly and easily.
  • Designed to be combined and used with other MCU and peripheral modules in the Tower System.

  • Industrial Ethernet PHY configurable as:
    • 10/100 dual or single port RMII
    • 10/100 single port MII
  • Industrial high-speed dual role USB (hostdDevice) over UPLI
  • Dedicated host mode USB port

  • Four concurrent RS-232 serial transceivers, including one S08JS16 based serial-to-USB
  • RS485 transceiver
  • CAN transceiver
