SPIGen is a fully customizable SPI generator software package, which can easily adapt to a wide variety of SPI protocol specifications. It supports the NXP USB SPI dongle/interface. SPIGen v7 can be installed on any Windows 7®, Windows 8®, or Windows 10®-based operating system, and it uses the USB port of a computer to interface with the test hardware via the USB SPI dongle/interface hardware.

  • SPIGen 5.0.8 - compatible with Windows XP ONLY
  • Variable word sizes from 1 to 40 bits
  • SPI commands can be viewed in binary or in hex
  • Can save common SPI commands by name
  • Batches of SPI commands can be sent with one click
  • A session log records all messages sent and received
  • Can control nine extra non-SPI pins (digital outputs)
  • Can add transitions of non-SPI pins to batches
  • SPI maximum clock frequency up to 12.0 MHz (using KL25Z Freedom Board USB SPI Dongle)
