PNEV7220BP2 is a flexible development board which can be connected to an i.MX 8 MCU running Android and a dedicated security MCU. Both CPUs are connected using their own host interface based on I²C (Android host) and SPI (security MCU host). The board is implementing the PN7221 which is backward-compatible with the PN7220. PNEV7220BP2 enables quick evaluation of NFC Forum, EMVCo 3.2 and Apple ECP applications. A TDA8035 evaluation board can be connected for contact card support.
