The Symphony® audio DSP56725 is part of the DSP5672x family of multicore 24-bit processors, offering flexibility and scalability. The Symphony DSP56725 retains code compatibility with Our popular DSP56000 and DSP56300 core families of DSPs and provides pin and peripheral compatibility with the Symphony DSP56721. The Symphony DSP56725 is similar to the Symphony DSP56724 except that there is no external memory controller and is therefore offered in a smaller package option – 80LQFP.

The Symphony audio DSP56725 excels at audio processing for automotive, consumer and professional audio applications requiring high million instructions per second (MIPS). Higher MIPS and memory requirements are driven by the multitude of audio standards for home entertainment and automotive infotainment. In addition, the DSPs are optimal for the professional audio market requiring audio recording, signal processing and digital audio synthesis.
