The NXP NCx3320 is an automotive-grade NFC frontend IC optimized for secure car access. As a member of NXP®’s high-performance reader IC family, NCx3320 combines high RF output power with robust multiple protocol support. The NCx3320 also sets new benchmarks in terms of low power operation and excellent card detection distance making it ideal choice for door handle applications. The NCx3320 is accompanied by a generic software library, which is easily portable across different MCUs.

  • Supports multiple protocols incl. ISO/IEC 14443 A/MIFARE, ISO/IEC 14443 B, FeliCa and ISO/IEC 15693
  • Supports P2P passive initiator mode in accordance with ISO/IEC 18092
  • RF driver supply voltage 3 V – 5.5 V with max. current of 350 mA
  • Enhanced wake-up (low power card detection) mode ensuring robust and sensitive card detection
  • Allows antenna connection with minimum number of external components
  • IRQ pin for improved host communication / host task scheduling
  • 512-byte host interface buffer
  • HVQFN32 package with wettable flanks
  • Temperature range: NCF: - 40 .. +85°, NCJ: ..+105°, NCK: ..+125°
  • Generic Software Library easy portable across different MCUs
