This session presents a novel implementation of data collection and management solutions for converting heterogenous vehicle CAN data into the COVESA Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) format. Using runtime components deployed on automotive processors, users can define signal rules to collect, filter, and conditionally send data to the cloud. By studying this implementation, we will cover the new and existing data management standards that can enable smarter vehicles.
Presented by: Charlie Ice, Wireless Connectivity Marketing at NXP
