4D Imaging Radar is Now

Automated vehicles make the leap from proof of concept to commercial launch. Sensors that enable them follow suit and not only deliver best-in-class sensing, but as well need to fit the bill to make safer driving available to all vehicles. Matthias Feulner, Senior Director Marketing ADAS, presented at Tech.AD 2022 in Berlin about the advances in 4D Imaging Radar now allowing to deliver “LIDAR-like” sensing at a fraction of the cost of other high-resolution sensors. More so, the newest sensor generation enables the ‘always-aware’ sensor through simultaneous 3-in-1 multi-mode sensing.
