The MMA9553L pedometer sensor integrates a high accuracy, high resolution MEMS accelerometer, a 32-bit low power embedded MCU, flash memory and a dedicated architecture to manage additional sensors. Featuring:

  • A highly accurate, fast response, pedometer with accurate step counting and stride length detection
  • Capability of adding additional motion sensing detection, such as threshold detection or wake-up detection
  • Significant power savings of your overall system as well as step detection and counting while the rest of the system can be turned off
  • Sensor hub functions to enable a large breadth of pervasive portable or wearable applications
