The ASC3112HV device combines two of NXPs programmable DSP based AISG modems with a powerful 94 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M3 processor with embedded flash program memory. The AISG modem functionality is identical as provided by NXPs dual modem AISG transceiver ASC3012HN, with the same programmable features. This combination of functions represents a highly optimized and cost-effective solution for any tower mounted device requiring multiple AISG transceivers and a CPU. It is a good fit for tower mounted amplifiers, antennas with remote electrical tilt control, adjustable filters/combiners or any other device in a basestation tower with AISG control or the need for multiple AISG transceivers. The Cortex-M3 processor includes a broad range of interfaces like PWM outputs, multi-channel ADC/DACs, and a high number of GPIO pins. As the AISG OOK modem is a separate functional block next to the Arm® processor, the processing power of the Cortex-M3 remains fully available for controlling the tower mounted device.
