The low-power MMA9555L intelligent motion-sensing pedometer incorporates a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer, signal conditioning, data conversion, and a 32-bit microcontroller for use in portable and mobile consumer products.
- Targets applications such as pedometers, wearable devices, smart watches, wristbands, sleep monitors, smart earphones, and health monitoring
- Integrates sensor initialization, calibration, data compensation, and computation functions
- Provides sophisticated pedometer functionality and six-directional orientation monitoring
- Enables high accuracy step counting, stride length measurement, calorie, and activity type detection
- Includes auto-sleep/auto-wake capabilities
