Matter devices are authenticated with device unique Device Attestation Certificates which are issued by trusted Product Attestation Authorities (PAA). Those trusted authorities must meet specific requirements and apply a strict security process to protect the Matter ecosystem.
NXP is a Product Attestation Authority approved by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). EdgeLock 2GO can issue Matter device attestation certificates for any devices. With optimal security level and flexibility on NXP hardware.
