devices to be deployed and connected. Evolving from a landscape where access to the latest technology was dependent on large

i.MX 91 applications processor, announced May 30th the latest addition to the i.MX 9 series — is designed to enable and accelerate the democratization of IoT. The key features of the i.MX 91 SoCs are detailed in product manager James Prior's
i.MX 91 announcement blog. The i.MX 91 family, with a secure enclave and a Linux® BSP that natively supports a range of NXP
connectivity devices, including the IW612 tri-radio solution, provides the building blocks to enable secure connected devices for the breadth and depth of the IoT and
industrial markets.

However the enablement can only be delivered if system integrators and original design manufacturers (ODMs) that are integral to
the deployment of IoT and edge industrial devices build a system around these core building blocks; linking end device
manufactures to devices such as the i.MX 91 SoC. Often this connection of the IoT value chain evolves after a key product is
available to the mass market and may explain why IoT devices have not proliferated as fast as many people predicted. To reverse
this trend, for the i.MX 91 family we have engaged a key group of system integrators earlier than ever before, so that as we
announce the i.MX 91 processor, these partners can demonstrate its capabilities based on a fully developed board, running early
software and a connected display; an IoT development kit, not just a part.
