The BGA7202 MMIC is an extremely linear variable gain amplifier, operating from 0.7 GHz to 2.2 GHz. It has a gain of 23 dB and a gain range of 23 dB and at its maximum gain setting it delivers an output power of 24 dBm, an output IP3 of 43 dBm and a noise figure of 8 dB. The gain control is offered through an analogue interface. It has been designed and qualified for the severe mission profile of cellular bases stations, but its outstanding RF performance makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications. The BGA7202 is housed in a 32 pins 5 × 5 mm² leadless HVQFN package.
