The MMW9002KC is a highly integrated 5G 4-channel bidirectional analog beamforming IC and is digitally controlled via a high-speed SPI bus. The MMW9002KC has a high bit phase and amplitude resolution. Each channel consists of a transmit chain (Tx) and a receive chain (Rx). Both Tx and Rx chains include a phase shifter and a variable gain amplifier (VGA). On-chip power detectors allow measurement of the power levels on all RF antenna pins. The SPI interface controls all device functional registers. The device comes in a very small 4.39 mm × 3.59 mm × 0.5 mm package with 56 bumps.
