The NXP® 12XSC eXtreme switch devices are SPI-controlled smart high side switches for industrial applications, providing diagnostics, as well as comprehensive fault management and control of the loads without complex software.

  • The devices use a programmable multi-step latched overcurrent shutdown protection, which minimizes thermal stress within the device during an overload condition, greatly reducing the junction temperature rise and vastly improving reliability
  • This family is packaged in a SOICW-EP package
  • Low RDS(ON) and large integration enable savings in terms of module size, power dissipation, and total system cost
