AirPlay Software Development Kit (SDK)

The AirPlay Software Development Kit (SDK) from NXP offers support for audio applications using Apple AirPlay technology. This AirPlay solution is architected for multiple system configurations based on a range of i.MX application processors, from a dedicated AirPlay speaker or audio accessory to being part of a multifunctional audio device, and supporting a range of User Interface (UI) options.

i.MX6UL, i.MX6ULL and i.MX6ULZ – Suitable for AirPlay dedicated audio products such as speakers and multi-room audio systems.

i.MX8M family and i.MX7D – Suitable for audio systems including AirPlay and other streaming functions and services, local media libraries, audio processing, and voice assistants.
