About This Training
Bringing an IoT device to market involves significant design and
development effort – with scalability issues, security challenges and
device limitations around every corner. Adding intelligence makes it
even more complicated. This makes selection of the right development
hardware and software critical to getting secure edge products to market
faster.
This session introduces the new Arduino Pro Portenta X8 platform, an
industrial-grade, secure SOM based on NXP’s i.MX 8M Mini applications
processor and an onboard SE050 hardware secure element. This platform is
both PSA Certified for assured security and Arm SystemReady-IR certified
for OS compatibility. Hear from experts at NXP, Arm and Arduino on these
essential elements for edge platform design.
In addition, a demonstration of the FoundriesFactory cloud-based
DevSecOps platform for secure development, deployment and management of
IoT devices will be shared, detailing how to leverage its secure,
Yocto-based embedded Linux IoT platform, the Linux microPlatform.
Participants will see how to integrate trusted offerings from partners
at Arm, Foundries.io, Arduino and
NXP into their next edge application.
