About This Training

This session provides an overview of IoT security use cases and shows how NXP^® EdgeLock^® SE050 solution makes it easy to add future-proof security to your industrial device and to meet the requirements of the ISA/IEC 62443 standard.

For remotely controlled industrial system designs, resilience against cyber attacks is crucial. With IEC62443, state of the art design patterns are finally standardized and allow designers to follow those patterns in a structured way.

Industrial systems have become substantially more complex. Protocols like USB 2.0, TCP/IP or IEEE 802.11 require a general purpose operating system. Software stacks developed in-house are no longer viable. They are being replaced by a collection of standard components available in the form of free software.

The session introduces the TSN standards with features and benefits for networked industrial applications, followed by several use case examples.
