LPC553X FLEXSPI Memory Management

About This Training

The LPC553X supports multiple options to use and expand the system memory through FlexSPI such as internal memory options and external memory options. This device has one instance of the FlexSPI module ( FLEXSPI0, FLEXSPI1 has a buffer size of 1 KB). FlexSPI0 supports port A only this can be connected to 2 Flash/RAM devices.

FlexSPI supports Single/Dual/Quad/Octal mode data transfer (1/2/4/8 bidirectional data lines). FlexSPI flash interface with 8 KB cache with CACHE64 controller and dynamic decryption for execute-in-place and supports DMA.
