Linux and Open Source have already entered the infotainment segment, but expanding to ADAS presents new challenges with regards to safety and change control. This session will provide an overview of the internals of the kernel, the safety-critical components, implementation of fault recovery mechanisms and finally how open source software can be used for autonomous drive applications.
