Security is essential for all our current connected devices. This is illustrated by the ever-growing threat of advanced cyberattacks. Industry has responded to these security threats by creating standards to assist end-users and equipment vendors.
Prominently, the ISA/IEC 62443 is a series of standards helping organizations to mitigate the risk of failure and exposure to security vulnerabilities in Industrial Automation and Control Systems. NXP eases to achieve compliance by using a powerful portfolio of HW and SW offer such as secure MPUs/MCUs and Secure Elements with unique features that allow the OEM to strengthen the Industrial IoT device against logical and physical attacks, making the device future-proof. We show how NXP products simplify the implementation of security features in industrial system components and facilitates compliance with this industry standard.
