About This Training

OEMs can take advantage of system-on-module (SOM) to develop flexible and long-life embedded solutions.

System-on-modules (SOM) can greatly simplify system design while providing features like flexible upgrade options. They can support applications like medical, industrial, smart buildings, food and beverage and even EV charging infrastructure. SOMs are available using many standard form factors like SMARC.

Interchangeable SOMs allow designers to utilize new, higher performance solutions as well as providing low-power options without requiring multiple board designs to handle different price/performance solutions. It allows new security and communication standards to be supported using different modules.
