About This Training

Smart home is expected to be one of the major growth areas over the next 5 years and NXP has exciting solutions and plans for this market. This session will cover the smart home landscape, from connectivity transports to home control ecosystems, voice assistants and popular application products. Due to the large range of communication and processing requirements, smart home applications require a correspondingly large range of connectivity and processing options. This session includes an overview of the suitable NXP connectivity and processor (MCUs and MPUs) options for a wide range of smart home applications. The session will also include an introduction to the most popular smart home ecosystems and NXP support, including Matter (previously Project CHIP) and Apple's HomeKit.
