This evaluation kit supports the MC34712EP DDR Switch-Mode Power Supply–a highly integrated, single-synchronous buck-switching regulator.

Provides a high-performance PoL power supply solution for DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 memories (compatible according to JEDEC industry standards)
Increases efficiency (up to 93%)
Offers a low cost solution
Allows for optimized magnetics/capacitors
Reduces space and enhances reliability for graphics cards, blade servers, set top boxes and HBA cards
