Last week marked a significant milestone for our company as we hosted our very first UCODE® Partner Event, an
important gathering for NXP® to bring
together bright
minds to create breakthrough solutions and to promote our UCODE brand. Additionally, we participated as an exhibitor
at the
WIoT Tomorrow event, further
showcasing our
commitment to driving technological advancements in the industry.
Highlights From Our First Partner Event
As a prominent name in RAIN RFID products, our UCODE ICs are
part of a broad ecosystem, including the producers of inlays and labels, readers, printers and system integrators.
To simplify
complexity, expand our ecosystem, and reach new customers and markets, we bring our partners together. We value our
ecosystem
and believe that through joint efforts we can offer the most innovative solutions to our end users. Our Partner
Event was not
just an opportunity to share insights but also to strengthen our collaborative spirit and pave the way for future
innovations.
The agenda of the event was meticulously crafted to ensure a comprehensive overview of the current market status and
future
outlook, product innovations, emerging applications and challenging tagging use cases and best practices. The
sessions
featured presentations from both our NXP team and guest speakers from
Zebra Technologies and
CISC Semiconductor. Each session provided deep dives
into various
aspects of our products and technological advancements, with interactive discussions that enriched the participants'
understanding.
Among the guest speakers, Eric Malmed and Eiko Gramlich from Zebra Technologies delivered an engaging presentation
titled "RFID
Horizons." Their main message revolved around simplifying the implementation of RAIN RFID technology for a smarter
future.
Vojtech Derbek from CISC Semiconductor also contributed significantly with his session on the independent quality
assurance
process for label manufacturing. He underscored the importance of ensuring 100% performance quality of labels by
identifying and
sorting out bad tags during production.

A Discussion on the EU Digital Product Passport
One of the highlights was the dynamic panel discussion, titled Unlocking Circular Economies: Insights into the EU
Digital
Product Passport (DPP). Experts from
Avery Dennison,
Nedap, Tageos and NXP discussed industry trends and challenges,
explored the use of RAIN RFID technology as the data carrier, which enhances traceability and compliance, and
discussed the
importance of embedded tags. Overall, the session provided valuable insights into how, RAIN RFID and NFC technology
enable the
Digital Product Passport and can help build sustainable, circular economies.

Our activities in Wiesbaden, encompassing both the Partner Event and the WIoT Tomorrow exhibition, were a tremendous
success. We
effectively communicated our market insights, showcased our latest technological advancements, and strengthened our
relationships with partners and customers. These events not only highlighted our capabilities but also set the stage
for future
collaborations and innovations.
We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to drive progress in our industry.
