NXP today announced it expandedits Kinetis E series with new KE1xF and KE1xZ microcontrollers. Based on theARM® Cortex®-M core, these new devices offer higher performance with greatermemory densities and robust IP integration.
TheKinetis KE1xF MCU features a high performance ARM Cortex-M4 core running up to168 MHz and integrates CAN 2.0B compliant FlexCAN, while providing highreliable serial communication interface for industry applications. It alsooffers a rich suite of communication interfaces including LPUARTs, LPI2Cs,LPSPIs, and FlexIO.
The fullcapabilities of the Kinetis KE14F MCU are featured in NXP's advanced 3-in-1 AirConditioning Outdoor system. The Kinetis KE14F MCU combines the controls of thecompressor, fan and PFC into one unit, delivering a high performance, low cost,all-DC VF system that will be featured in the Technology Lab at the NXP FTFTech Forum in Shenzhen, China, September 28 – 29th.
TheKinetis KE1xZ MCU features a 72 MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ core with up to 256 KBflash, 32 KB RAM, and a complete set of analog/digital features. The robust TSIprovides a high level of stability and accuracy for your HMI system, while the1-Msps ADC and FlexTimer modules offer a perfect solution for BLDCmotor-control systems.
These5V-solutions are ideal for the following applications: circuit breaker,high-end home appliances, motor control and smart lighting.

Suggested resale pricing for 64LQFP packages start from $1.49 and$1.93 (USD) respectively in 10,000-unit quantities. Kinetis KE1xZ and KE1xFMCUs in 100 LQFP package are also available starting from $1.63 and $2.07 (USD)respectively.
