The M5282LITE evaluation board provides a low cost option for embarking on high-performance yet price sensitive embedded networking designs. With 16 MBytes of SDRAM, 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connectivity, and an excellent ColdFire® debug module, this complete package includes all the components to enable quick design support for the MCF5280, MCF5281, and MCF5282.
This cost-sensitive development platform will be available in March along with RTOS, open source GNU tools, and open source TCP/IP stack. This low cost hardware package bundled with its software and tools combine to provide a cost effective networking platform that can be up and running right out of the box with all the necessary components for application development. NXP® also has the complete M5282LITEKIT that includes the M5282LITE evaluation board with the CE certifed power supply and a wiggler cable.
