The NXP® MiGLO® NxH2280 is a fully integrated single-chip solution that enables wireless audio streaming and data communication using Near Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI), a mature technology with a proven track record in the hearing aid industry.
NFMI is more power-efficient than RF in short distances. The steep degradation of signal strength as a function of distance increases privacy and reduces issues with interference compared to RF.
