A state-of-the-art video compression engine encodes AV streams for functions such as DVR, time shifting and streaming media to PC or portable devices. Ample bandwidth for streaming features is provided by the PCI Express 1.1 compliant architecture.
Copy protection is covered by certified three-level Macrovision detection circuitry and 128-bit AES and (T)DES encryption. The solutions have high-level command and response interfaces – used by BDA (Broadcast Driver Architecture) drivers and protected BDA drivers (included) for plug-and-play applications.
