Our Singapore office includes members of our sales and technical support teams who cover customers in Australia and countries in South East Asia. A global distribution center manages logistics strategy and programs for the Asia region. We also have an engineering team that manages the external manufacturing subcontract houses in Singapore.
In 1998, Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company (SSMC) was founded by NXP (then Philips) and TSMC. A research and development center was added in 2007 to focus on specialized manufacturing processes as well as automotive, near field communication (NFC) and RF markets. NXP high-performance mixed signal products are developed at SSMC.
